Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: June 12, 2026

Welcome to CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC website, vehicle transportation brokerage services, Carrier Packet process, communications, and related services.

By accessing our website, requesting transportation, submitting information, completing a Carrier Packet, communicating with us, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. About CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC

CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC operates as an auto transportation brokerage.

Our role is to arrange and coordinate vehicle transportation between customers, shippers, dealerships, auctions, automotive businesses, and independent motor carriers.

CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC does not represent through these Terms that it physically transports every vehicle itself.

Unless specifically stated otherwise in a written agreement, the physical transportation, loading, hauling, and delivery of vehicles is performed by independent motor carriers engaged to perform transportation services.

FMCSA distinguishes brokers from motor carriers: brokers arrange transportation, while motor carriers perform the physical transportation.

2. Services

CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC may provide or coordinate services including:

  • Car shipping coordination
  • Open auto transport coordination
  • Enclosed auto transport coordination
  • Dealer vehicle transportation
  • Automotive auction pickup and transportation
  • Dealer-to-dealer vehicle transfers
  • Interstate vehicle transportation
  • Multi-vehicle transportation
  • Commercial automotive transportation
  • Pickup and delivery coordination
  • Vehicle freight opportunities for independent motor carriers
  • Carrier onboarding and Carrier Packet processing
  • Other related auto transportation brokerage services

The availability of any specific transportation option depends on factors including shipment requirements, vehicle specifications, route, timing, equipment, pricing, and available motor carrier capacity.

3. Transportation Brokerage Relationship

When you request vehicle transportation through CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC, you authorize us to arrange transportation services based on the information you provide.

CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC may communicate shipment information to an independent motor carrier for purposes of arranging pickup and transportation.

The motor carrier performing transportation remains responsible for operating its equipment, drivers, transportation operations, and physical handling of the vehicle in accordance with applicable law and the applicable transportation arrangement.

CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC’s role is primarily to facilitate and coordinate the transportation arrangement between the relevant parties.

4. Eligibility and Accurate Information

By using our services, you represent that:

  • You have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement.
  • You are authorized to arrange transportation for the vehicle or vehicles submitted.
  • Information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
  • You will promptly inform us of material changes to shipment information.
  • You will not use our website or services for fraudulent, unlawful, deceptive, or unauthorized purposes.

Providing false, misleading, incomplete, or inaccurate information may delay transportation, affect pricing, result in additional charges, or cause CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC to decline or terminate a transportation request.

5. Vehicle Transportation Quotes

Transportation rates may depend on factors including:

  • Pickup location
  • Delivery location
  • Distance
  • Vehicle year, make, and model
  • Vehicle size and weight
  • Vehicle condition
  • Whether the vehicle is operable
  • Number of vehicles
  • Open or enclosed transportation
  • Route conditions
  • Seasonal demand
  • Fuel and transportation market conditions
  • Pickup timing
  • Motor carrier availability
  • Special equipment or handling requirements

An initial quote may be based on information available when the quote is provided.

If shipment information changes, the transportation rate may also change.

A website estimate, telephone estimate, email estimate, or preliminary quote does not necessarily guarantee carrier assignment or final transportation pricing unless expressly confirmed as such.

6. Carrier Availability

Transportation is subject to the availability of independent motor carriers with appropriate equipment and capacity for the requested route.

Submission of a transportation request does not automatically guarantee that a motor carrier will be available for the requested date, route, or price.

CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC may communicate with customers regarding changes necessary to facilitate carrier assignment.

7. Pickup and Delivery Dates

Pickup dates, delivery dates, transit times, and transportation windows may be estimates unless expressly guaranteed in a separate written agreement.

Transportation schedules may be affected by circumstances including:

  • Traffic
  • Weather
  • Road conditions
  • Mechanical issues
  • Driver hours-of-service limitations
  • Previous pickup or delivery delays
  • Facility delays
  • Auction delays
  • Customer availability
  • Road closures
  • Government restrictions
  • Accidents
  • Carrier scheduling
  • Other circumstances outside reasonable control

Customers should not make irreversible travel, moving, sales, or scheduling arrangements solely based on an estimated pickup or delivery time.

8. Customer Responsibilities Before Pickup

The customer or authorized representative is responsible for providing accurate shipment information and making the vehicle reasonably available for transportation.

Before pickup, customers should:

  • Provide accurate vehicle information
  • Provide correct pickup and delivery addresses
  • Provide valid pickup and delivery contacts
  • Inform us if the vehicle is inoperable
  • Disclose modifications that may affect transportation
  • Provide applicable auction or dealership release information
  • Ensure authorized access to the vehicle
  • Remove prohibited or inappropriate personal property
  • Follow reasonable preparation instructions communicated for transportation

Additional charges may apply if inaccurate or incomplete information results in additional equipment, labor, storage, waiting time, failed pickup, or other costs.

9. Inoperable or Modified Vehicles

Customers must notify CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC before transportation if a vehicle:

  • Does not start
  • Does not roll
  • Does not steer
  • Does not brake
  • Has flat or damaged tires
  • Has missing parts affecting loading
  • Has substantial modifications
  • Has unusually low ground clearance
  • Has oversized dimensions
  • Requires special loading equipment

Failure to disclose these conditions may result in transportation delays, refusal by the assigned carrier, or additional charges.

10. Personal Property Inside Vehicles

Customers should not place valuables, prohibited items, hazardous materials, illegal goods, or other inappropriate property inside vehicles being transported.

Personal property placed in a vehicle may be subject to carrier restrictions and applicable laws.

CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC does not recommend transporting valuable personal belongings inside a vehicle.

Any personal-property arrangements should be confirmed with the motor carrier before transportation.

11. Vehicle Inspection and Condition

The motor carrier may inspect the vehicle at pickup and document its condition.

Customers or their authorized representatives should review applicable inspection documentation at pickup and delivery.

Any visible damage or condition concerns should be documented promptly according to the applicable carrier’s procedures and transportation documents.

Customers should retain photographs, inspection reports, bills of lading, and other transportation records that may be relevant to a claim.

12. Damage, Loss, and Transportation Claims

Because physical transportation is performed by independent motor carriers, claims involving physical damage, loss, or handling of a vehicle may involve the motor carrier that performed the transportation and/or its insurer.

If an incident occurs, customers should notify CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC promptly so that relevant transportation information can be reviewed.

Claims remain subject to:

  • Applicable law
  • The motor carrier’s transportation documents
  • Insurance requirements
  • Inspection documentation
  • Applicable agreements
  • Claim procedures and deadlines

Nothing in these Terms is intended to eliminate any rights or obligations that cannot legally be waived.

13. Dealer and Auction Transportation

Customers requesting pickup from an automotive auction, dealership, storage facility, port, yard, or similar location are responsible for providing accurate information necessary to release the vehicle.

This may include:

  • Buyer information
  • Lot number
  • Stock number
  • VIN or vehicle identification information
  • Gate pass
  • Release number
  • Pickup authorization
  • Facility contact information
  • Applicable pickup instructions

CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC is not responsible for delays caused by missing, inaccurate, expired, or unavailable release information supplied by the customer or facility.

14. Storage, Auction, and Facility Fees

Certain auctions, dealerships, storage yards, terminals, or other facilities may impose charges such as:

  • Storage fees
  • Late pickup fees
  • Gate fees
  • Loading fees
  • Forklift fees
  • Release fees
  • Administrative fees
  • Other facility charges

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, these third-party charges are the responsibility of the customer or party responsible under the applicable transportation agreement.

CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC does not control fees independently imposed by third-party facilities.

15. Payments and Transportation Charges

Transportation charges and payment terms will be based on the applicable quote, order, rate confirmation, invoice, agreement, or other transportation documentation.

Depending on the shipment, payments may be collected by CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC, the motor carrier, or another authorized payment recipient according to the transportation arrangement.

Customers agree to pay all properly agreed transportation charges and applicable additional charges associated with their shipment.

Failure to make required payments may result in suspension or cancellation of services and may be subject to lawful collection efforts.

16. Deposits and Brokerage Fees

If a deposit, brokerage fee, reservation payment, or other advance payment is required, the applicable amount and payment terms will be communicated before or during transportation arrangements.

Refundability, cancellation treatment, and payment obligations may depend on:

  • Whether a motor carrier has been assigned
  • Work already performed arranging transportation
  • Shipment cancellation timing
  • Carrier cancellation charges
  • The applicable transportation agreement
  • Other circumstances associated with the order

Any specific written payment or cancellation agreement associated with a shipment will control if it conflicts with general information on the website.

17. Cancellations

Customers should notify CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC as soon as possible if transportation is no longer required.

Cancellation fees or non-refundable amounts may apply when permitted by the applicable agreement, particularly after a motor carrier has been assigned or transportation arrangements have already been made.

Carrier cancellations may occasionally occur because of equipment issues, schedule changes, route changes, capacity limitations, or other transportation circumstances.

If a carrier becomes unavailable, CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC may attempt to coordinate another carrier but cannot guarantee immediate replacement.

18. Independent Motor Carriers

Motor carriers working with CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC operate as independent businesses and are not employees of CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC solely because they transport a shipment arranged through our brokerage.

Carriers remain responsible for their:

  • Drivers
  • Vehicles and equipment
  • Transportation operations
  • Applicable operating authority
  • Applicable insurance
  • Safety compliance
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Taxes and business obligations
  • Performance of physical transportation

Applicable federal regulations separately regulate property brokers and motor carriers.

19. Carrier Setup and Carrier Packets

Motor carriers interested in working with CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC may be required to complete a Carrier Packet and provide information requested for onboarding.

Information requested may include:

  • Legal company information
  • MC and/or USDOT information
  • Operating authority information
  • Insurance information
  • Equipment information
  • Contact information
  • Tax information
  • Payment information
  • Other carrier documentation

Submitting a Carrier Packet does not guarantee approval, freight, load volume, rates, or future transportation assignments.

CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC may review carrier information before establishing or continuing a business relationship.

Brokers subject to FMCSA requirements also have regulatory recordkeeping obligations for brokerage transactions.

20. Carrier Responsibilities

Carriers working with CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC are responsible for maintaining all authority, insurance, registrations, equipment, and qualifications required for the transportation they perform.

Carriers must provide accurate information during onboarding and notify CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC of material changes that may affect their ability to legally or safely perform transportation.

CARHAUL LOGISTICS LLC may decline to work with or discontinue working with a carrier when appropriate based on onboarding, compliance, business, safety, fraud-prevention, or service considerations.
